Our Process
1. Initial Consultation
Every project begins with a conversation. We’ll discuss your vision, needs, style preferences, budget considerations, lot requirements, and overall goals for the home. This helps us create a plan tailored specifically to your project. We can discuss your project over the phone, video call or office visit.
2. Preliminary Design & Floor Plan Development
Using the information gathered during the consultation, we begin developing your custom floor plan and layout concepts. During this stage, we refine room sizes, functionality, exterior ideas, and overall flow to create a design that fits your lifestyle and building goals.
3. Design Revisions
We work closely with you throughout the design process to make adjustments and refinements as needed. Our goal is to ensure the final layout reflects your vision before construction documents are completed. We can provide the home in 3D and virtual walk-throughs so the final product can be seen.
4. Construction Documents
Once the design is approved, we prepare a detailed set of construction drawings for permitting and construction purposes. Depending on your project and local requirements, plans may include: Floor Plans, Exterior Elevations, Roof Plans, Electrical Layouts, Foundation Information, Cross Sections & Details, and Simple Schematics.
5. Engineering & Permitting
If required by your city, county, HOA, or builder, plans can be coordinated with structural engineering and other consultants prior to permit submittal. We assist in preparing the drawings needed for the permitting process.
6. Final Plan Delivery
After revisions, engineering coordination, and final approvals are complete, your finalized plan set will be delivered digitally after all final payments are made.
